Installation: what UK buyers need to know
tado° says the kit works with most gas boilers and heat pumps using relay or OpenTherm control, and the Programmer X includes hot water control. The Programmer connects to the boiler or heat pump. tado° offers an online compatibility check — use it for system and regular boilers. If you are not confident with the wiring, use a qualified installer. Any work on the gas side of a boiler must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
