OpenTherm for compatible combi boilers only. Hive says both its thermostats give control of heating and hot water via the app. Heat pumps are not guaranteed by Hive. If you are not confident with the wiring, use a qualified installer. Any work on the gas side of a boiler must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
