Installation: what UK buyers need to know
Replaces a wired room thermostat connected to a boiler, heat pump or water-based underfloor heating, using the same wiring (relay or OpenTherm). Max 3 A resistive / 1 A inductive. If you are replacing a wireless thermostat or have no thermostat, tado° recommends the wireless version. Works with tado° X products, not with tado° V3+. If you are not confident with the wiring, use a qualified installer. Any work on the gas side of a boiler must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
