Installation: what UK buyers need to know
For air-to-water, water-to-water and geothermal heat pumps, with or without a connected thermostat. tado° lists brands including Panasonic Aquarea, Vaillant, Atlantic, Saunier Duval, Fujitsu and Daikin — check your exact model on tado°'s compatibility list. Installation may involve opening the heat pump. If you are not confident with the wiring, use a qualified installer. Any work on the gas side of a boiler must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
